1. Shirakaba Rentals

2. Chill Madarao

This is a great new rental place run by an Australian family. Their gear was brand new last season and their technicians are skilled and helpful.

3. Active Life


This rental place is run by Active Life chain of hotels. Their gear was brand new last season and they have some good deals on rentals with passes and trips.

These guys are right next door and have a great selection of rentals. They are not new, but their lower prices reflect this.

4. Madarao Mountain Lodge


Mark and Abe-chan run one of the best lodges on the mountain, renowned for their service, warmth, great food and friendly atmosphere. This extends to their rental service - they have a selection of premium skis and snowboards at unbelievable prices. 5. Snowball Chalet / Shaggy Yak


Dan and the crew at the Snowball Chalet / Shaggy Yak offer non stop quality, great service and help. They have Jones Boards for those who want to rent a premium board. Dan also has great information about touring and back country and his fire place is a great place to chill, trade stories and find out more about Madarao from one of the town’s nicest people.
